Professionals Group

In the greater medical field, professionals lack or only have a rudimentary training in human sexuality. Usually it’s the basics of how everything fits together, and that’s about it. It does speak to the education we all receive, however it does leave room for everyone to explore their own interests, issues, and knowledge of sexuality.

I created the Sex Talk with Erika Miley Professional’s Group as a medium for discussion and training around sexuality. We continue to explore topics such as LGBT+, etiquette with clients and patients, medications, alternative therapies, and how psychotherapy works in conjunction with other treatments.
